WATER NOTIFICATIONS UPDATE - Thursday 19th June, 2025
BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED – Omakau
We’re pleased to let you know that the boil water notice for Omakau will be lifted today.
The treatment plant is operating within normal levels
Three consecutive days of water sampling have returned clear results
Our contractor will remove all boil water signage today
Water tankers will remain in place until Monday, 23 June 2025, when they will be removed
Ranfurly Update:
We are currently awaiting the final water sample result, expected tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have confirmation. Boil water notice still in place.
Naseby Update:
Naseby remains under a conserve water notice. Please continue to use water sparingly while we monitor supply levels.

Ranfurly tanker locations:
Maniototo Area School - 15 Caulfield Street, Ranfurly
Maniototo Hospital - 41 Pery Street, Ranfurly.
Please avoid early morning to access the water because the connection may be frozen in the freezing conditions. Best to access afternoon and evening.
