Roxburgh’s Teviot Gardens have been receiving some love and attention recently, with the Central Otago District Council (CODC) finishing the next stage in a rejuvenation project of the popular spot this week.
Topsoil will be brought into the central Roxburgh spot and the cleared-out area grassed in the spring.
The council has preserved the well-known features, including a sculpture and seats, and significant plantings.
The aim is to make the space more easily identifiable as a park and to increase its use.
The gardens are located on the corner of Kelso and Scotland Streets.
