Central Otago is sure to experience settled weather this week, according to Metservice.
“Southwesterly winds move in overnight from Tuesday [July 5] into Wednesday and bring a chill to the air and perhaps a shower before dawn.”
Lewis said Thursday will be fine but cold, with a maximum temperature of around 5°C.
“Things get more complex towards the end of the week with low pressure systems approaching from the north. They could drop rain as far south as Central Otago but that will be one worth keeping up with the latest forecast.”
Southerly winds look to move in for the weekend.
