The man killed in a crash in the Cromwell Gorge late last month has been named.

Police have confirmed Kelan Michael Ray Stroud (17), of Cromwell, died in the crash, which happened at 6.35am on Wednesday, March 27.

Police extend their condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
