We are on the hunt for a new Parks Officer – Projects, to join our experienced, passionate, and supportive Parks and Recreation team.

We’re after an absolute bloomer who loves working with our various stakeholders and doesn’t stem away from the thorny issues.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Together with our Parks and Recreation Manager you’ll be planning and project managing our renewals and new projects for playgrounds, trails, trees, gardens, heritage, and park structures to name a few.
  • You’ll work with our epic suppliers and contractors.
  • Consulting and gaining community feedback on upcoming projects.
  • Assist in the management of operational maintenance.
  • Together with the Parks and Recreation Manager provide advice to Community Boards and Council.
  • Assist with budgeting and our long-term planning.

Who are you?
