We’re pleased to let you know that the boil water notice for Omakau and Ophir has been lifted.

The treatment plant is operating within normal levels. Three consecutive days of water sampling have returned clear results.

The water is now safe to drink straight from the tap again. Those with storage tanks should consider flushing them to enable clean water into their systems.
