Outdoor enthusiast Anna Robb brings energy, passion and writing talent to the reporting team at The Central App.

After more than 20 years living mainly in Auckland, Wellington and London, Anna has moved back to the Mainland, settling in Alexandra.

“Landing this job is perfect for me - I’ll be able to combine my love of a good yarn with getting out and about in the local community."

Anna brings a range of transferable skills to the role and a nose for news.

She has had a varied career in communications and marketing and a successful five years of business ownership.

“I pride myself on being hardworking, accurate and creative, with a grounding in corporate communications - I’ve done everything from annual reports and CEO speeches, to intranet stories, stakeholder negotiations and change communications projects.”

Anna has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA/LLB) from the University of Otago and a Diploma of Journalism from Massey University.

Outside of work, the mum of two enjoys trail running, snowboarding, gardening and spending time with friends and family.

Now she has settled into her new life in Central Otago and is looking forward to meeting members of the community and telling their many stories.
