A person has died after the vehicle they were in rolled on Bannockburn Rd, near Cairnmuir Rd, last night.

Police responded to the one vehicle crash, which was reported about 9:45 pm, where they found one person in a critical condition.

However, the person died at the scene.

The Serious Crash Unit attended and completed a scene examination.

The road was blocked, but has since reopened and enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
