Dunstan High School (DHS) students were celebrated at the annual senior prizegiving on Wednesday night, where their many achievements were recognised.
The award for Dux went to Jacob Bromby and the joint recipients of Proxime Accessit are Sofia Druce and Emily Templeton.

Gongs were handed out acknowledging academic, sporting, cultural and leadership contributions of students.
Deputy principal in charge of assessment and reporting Michelle Tipene thanked sponsors Placemakers, Unichem Pharmacy, Paper Plus and Appliance Plus for their support.
Student leaders for 2024 were also named and received their pins at prizegiving.
The 2024 head girl is Megan De Cort, head boy Mika Tait, deputy head girl Grainne Reily, deputy head boy Harrison Thow, board of trustees representatives, Grace Begg and Leon Morris and the pou Māori Brooke Huddleston and Zavier Robb.
The 2023 student leadership team received a service award for their contribution over the past year. They were Isla Redgrave, Rafferty Love, Brooklyn Harrington, Xavier Liddell, Molly Mason-Galletly and Flinn Moffit, Myah Turnbull and Pania Geary.

Central Otago students are now facing National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) and New Zealand Scholarship examinations, which start on Monday, November 6 and end on November 30.
