Excellent conditions throughout Central Otago saw in round one of the highly anticipated senior club rugby season.

Cromwell was at home to Arrowtown, prevailing over the old rivals 34 to 12.

Upper Clutha’s Rams dominated their clash against Maniototo, winning 27 to 11. 

Last year’s champs, Wakatipu, were left asking all the questions in a tight match going down 10 to 11 to Alexandra.
