Half time report from the sideline

Second Half report
Worst possible start to the second half for Cromwell with 13 Anura Takimoana getting ten in the bin. Wakatipu took the scrum in front from the ensuing penalty but loose hands in the backs let them down. However, smart play moments later has the Wakatipu 12 in almost under the posts. Easy conversion Wakatipu 27-18.
Constant pressure by Cromwell once restored to fifteen got them over the line with 12 to go. Maxwell converts it’s a two point game.
However hopes became thin for Cromwell with a stunning solo effort by #12 Rube Peina gives Wakatipu 34-25 lead with seven to go, and that, sadly for central and Cromwell is the way the game ended.
A very good game to watch and Wakatipu came out worthy champs.
