Tracy’s secret to getting through lockdown?
“What gets me through lockdown is being creative with my daughter (when I’m not working), playing with our new puppy, going for lake walks and baking.”
I asked Tracy to share her listening, reading and watching recommendations for getting through lockdown. Read on for her choices.

Podcast: I may have to start listening!
"I don’t usually listen to podcasts, but maybe I’ll have to start during lockdown,” she replied.
Book: The Little Book of Otter Philosophy, by Jennifer McCartney.
Otters. What other animal holds hands with their friends whilst napping, so they don’t float away? Builds a waterslide on a daily basis? Eats food off their tummy while floating peacefully with their mates? Befriends other species, just because?
“This is a book that uses the way otters live to help us humans be more playful, remind us not to sweat the small stuff, stop letting pressure take the joys out of life and to remind us how important it is to just have fun and laugh.
“The otter philosophy is about embracing new things, saying ‘Yes’ to everything.
“You never know what's out there waiting for you, if only you're open to it.
Movie: Eat, Pray, Love
“This movie is all about rediscovering yourself, when you think you have lost it all.
“Life is all about getting out of your comfort zone, especially when that zone is no longer a happy one.
“You need to get uncomfortable, in order to find your true self, what makes you tick, what makes you truly happy, who you were meant to be and not what society says you ought to be.”
