Every year the Central Otago Vintage Car Club Runs a rally event that includes the Blossom Festival Procession.

This year nearly half the vehicles are coming from out of the district as far away as Christchurch, Ashburton and Gore.

Club eligible vehicles are over 30 years old. This year we have a wide spread of ages with the oldest car being a 1915 Ford model T.

We are meeting to start in Clyde where the Vehicles will be parked in the Blyth St Museum area from 9am with a Drivers Briefing there at 10 am (Historic vehicles in a historic setting) The public are welcome to come and look at the cars and motor bike.

After the briefing those that are participating in the procession will line up in Killarney St. after 11am where the public can view before the procession starts.

This year the contestants choose their own route from destinations they have been given around Alexandra and Cromwell and as far away as upper Clutha area. All cars will travel through the Golden view Lifestyle village where the residents are expecting to see them go through.

The day ending up in The Clubrooms in Litany St Cromwell For Afternoon tea and prize giving. We have great sponsors and some excellent prizes to be won.
