Due to flooding

Good morning,

Changes:

• Reef Road, OPEN
• Ida Valley Omakau Road OPEN,
• Aurora and Delta were able to relocate the power pole yesterday and remove the old one enabling the temporary stabilisation of the pier and abutment to be carried out.
• The site is set up with a 30km speed restriction and will be monitored daily for cracking. Teams will be working in this area for a few weeks completing further rock armouring and the permanent pier/abutment stabilisation works.

Other Closures and Restrictions remain in place.

• The Dansey’s Pass Road, from McCreedy Rd to the Danseys Pub, is restricted to 4WD vehicles only, the temporary track isn’t suitable for cars and campervans. The road remains CLOSED from the gates past the Danseys Pass Hotel to the summit.
• Auripo Road CLOSED flooding has subsided so pushing closure back from house 843 to the track section (Boundary Road to Thurlow Rd)
• Kyeburn River Road – OPEN, Caution advised road surface is rough but trafficable.
• Mt Buster Road, CLOSED
• Auripo Road CLOSED (from Boundary Rd to Thurlow Rd)
• Naseby Link Road CLOSED (from SH85-Gimmerburn Road)
