Delays due to work on the Gateway to Haast Bridge.

There will be a Stop/Go in place between 8am and 5pm today (Thursday January 16) at the Gateway to Haast Bridge on the Haast Pass.

Expect up to 20 minute delays.

Due to slip repair works, SH6 30 minutes north of Haast, will be closed between 12:30pm and 4pm today (Thursday January 16).

Plan your journey accordingly, avoiding travel during these times. Outside of the hours stated above, the road will be open in both directions.
