Road is clear

Scheduled Road Work: SH 8 Alexandra to Roxburgh near Fruitlands

Due to culvert work, traffic will be held for up to 1 hour at a time and reopen at the top of the hour under manually controlled traffic lights with a 30km/h speed restriction from Sunday 24th November to Sunday 8th December between 8pm and 6am Sunday to Sunday nights.

Work will then shift to day works to complete a pavement reconstruction with a one lane closure under traffic lights with 10 minute delays from Monday 9th December to Friday 7th March 2025 7am to 7pm.

Expect significant delays.
