Take the time to do something you’d really love to do this Fathers Day weekend – we have a few suggestions for you.
Make this weekend your superhero. Saturday and Sunday are the days that can swoop in and save the rest of your week.
This weekend it’s all about the biggest superhero in our lives - Dad. Whether it’s your father, grandfather or father figure, make him feel special this weekend.
Prepare for Fathers Day.
Need a gift for Dad? Shop local - shop online. Many of our local businesses have great ‘click and collect’ procedures in place during Alert Level 3.
The ‘Locals Online’ section in The Central App links you to local businesses who are trading online, and need your support.

On Fathers Day.
Takeaways, anyone? We may not be able to take Dad out to a restaurant, but there’s many great takeaway options locally. You can still have a relaxed dinner with Dad and let someone else do the cooking.
Nature fun.
Check out our story about Conservation Week activities. There are some wonderful outdoor activities you can still do in alert level 3, including a treasure hunt for our local native plants that are currently in flower, and DOC has provided a lot of wonderful online activities for all ages.

Have fun this weekend with your bubble, enjoy Fathers Day and stay safe and well.
