Central Otago’s weekend looks set to be warm and sunny, so get your outdoor plans ready.
According to the MetService forecast, morning cloud is set to clear to fine with light winds and temperatures in the mid-twenties both Saturday and Sunday.
Cromwell-raised MetService meteorologist Lewis Ferris says the district is in for great weekend weather.

“Even the beginning of the working week looks nice with just a risk of isolated afternoon showers," he says. “You’d be unlucky to get caught underneath one”.
Saturday and Sunday look Fine, apart from some morning clouds and light winds. Perfect time to go for a stroll or cycle.”
Light winds will continue into the new week until Thursday where we will experience some showers with light winds.
