The Central Otago District Council (CODC) has issued an update on Boil Water and Conserve Water Notices.

BOIL WATER NOTICE UPDATE: RANFURLY

“The boil water notice remains in place, but the good news is that we are on our second day of testing and hope to be able to lift the boil water notice on Thursday provided the test results come back clear,” the CODC statement says.

“Until the boil water notice is officially lifted remember to boil all water used for drinking, food preparation and cooking, and cleaning your teeth. Bring water to a rolling boil and boil for at least a

minute, then allow it to cool naturally.

“Drinking water tankers remain in place at Maniototo Area School, Maniototo Hospital and Charlemont Street.

“Please let your neighbours, family and friends know that you think may not see this online or via app and radio advisories. Thanks.”
