  • Restaurant Supervisor – Previous customer service experience and being capable of running a shift is essential.
  • Café Cook – Previous experience necessary
  • Kitchen Hand – Some heavy lifting involved, so being fit and healthy is helpful


We are a 7 day a week business so you would be required to work on rotating rostered shifts.

Permanent Practice Nurse - Alexandra Family Medical (Alexandra)

You will be part of improving health outcomes and the effective and efficient running of our medical centre. 


We are a rural practice without a nearby A&E department – you can expect your work to be wide-ranging and challenging with opportunities to work independently, as well as alongside our GPs.


The position available: Permanent work, minimum of 3 days per week – commencing September 2021.


What we are looking for:


  • Current practising & CPR certificate - Vaccinator- and smear taker certificates would be an advantage but not essential
  • Attention to detail and be able to multi-task
  • An aim to improve healthcare access across the practice population
  • Co-operative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Be confident in using technology


Full training will be provided for the right candidate.


New Zealand Registration with a current or recently expired Annual Practicing Certificate is required.


Our practice’s opening hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm

Monday to Friday – plus occasional rostered public holidays and weekends.

Operations Manager - Galloway Irrigation (Alexandra)


The Galloway Irrigation Society, is looking for a person or persons to contract to the Society for the position of Operations Manager.


The position involves managing the operation of the Galloway Scheme, during the irrigation season of September to April.


The work includes managing the booking system for water on the pumped races, starting and stopping pumps, monitoring the water race intakes, and overseeing water race maintenance.


The position is essentially part time and there is an option for some maintenance work over the winter months.

Pool Crew - Central Otago District Council (Ranfurly Swim Centre)

We currently have vacancies at our Ranfurly Pool, and we want you to join our team! These vacancies are over the summer period (November through to April).


In this role you will provide the community with quality supervision to ensure the facility maintains an enjoyable and safe environment.


You will have a high level of customer service with clear and effective communication skills as well as being practically minded.


This role is instrumental in promoting a healthy living and making a difference in our region.


Hours are as per roster (morning, afternoon and evenings) with the flexibility to work a range of morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.


These positions offer an excellent entry to the leisure industry with additional training pathways to aquatic qualifications.


As the successful applicant you will:


  • Have a positive, can do attitude and proven ability working as part of a team
  • Confident swimming ability – able to swim 8 lengths of the pool within 6 minutes
  • Flexibility to work a range of morning, evening and weekend shifts
  • Be focused on providing the best customer service possible to our community
