Cromwell-raised MetService meteorologist Lewis Ferris says, Monday through Wednesday brings settled weather, some cloud but that should break nicely in the afternoons.
“Thursday starts off alright but there’s a southerly change on the way which brings some cooler temperatures and also some wet weather,” Lewis says.
Central Otago looks settled to start with a cool change on Thursday, according to MetService.
Lewis says some showers linger into Friday but it’s the drop in temperature that may be more noticeable. Going from 24°C on Thursday afternoon to just 16°C on Friday.
“Things clear up Friday afternoon and at this point there’s potential for some rain this weekend but that’ll be a forecast to keep your eyes on.”
