If the washing basket is getting full then today is your best bet for drying – even with this morning’s cloud, according to Metservice.

Cromwell-raised MetService meteorologist Lewis Ferris says some wet weather is possible around the region Tuesday afternoon.

Central Otago will experience a tough week to get washing dry outside, according to Metservice. 

 “Wednesday is looking borderline dry all day but western parts of the region could see some rain in the second half of the day.” Lewis says

“The rain overnight eases throughout Thursday and a cold night is forecast into Friday with Alexandra forecast to get down to 0°C.”

He explains, “Friday sees a few showers pepper the region and a high temperature of just 10°C.”
