“I took a look at how April panned out, almost bang on average for rainfall at the airport with 18.6mm. Average max temp, 18°C – right on average.” he says
“The mornings were a bit cooler than average, 2.8°C vs 3.9°C.”
He says, May sees a significant drop off in average afternoon temperature, just 12.5°C. So this week’s temperatures are well above average for May.
“High pressure sitting east of the country holds off any weather systems for this working week.”
“There's a chance a front moves through later on Sunday which would bring much cooler southwesterlies to start next week.”
