Central Otago’s weekend forecast is set to experience warm afternoons, but some wet weather is on the way.

MetService meteorologist Lewis Ferris says Northwesterly winds could be a bit blustery over ridge tops but this wind drives up the temperature.

Looking at high teens, maybe 20°C for a run of days.

“Saturday could be another foggy start but clearing to fine for most.”

Lewis says, “A touch of rain is possible in the second half of Sunday.”

He explains that next week starts off settled with northerly winds keeping the temperatures elevated.
