Central Otago’s weekend looks set to be a good weekend with a chance of rain by Sunday afternoon.

MetService meteorologist Lewis Ferris said the weekend would be fine and warm on Saturday, but a cold front moves through late afternoon / evening on Sunday.

 “The front brings some rain and a decent drop in temperatures, from high 20s on Sunday to high teens on Monday.”

“Wet weather lingers into Monday, but the cool southerly winds ease late in the day."

The weekend looks fine and warm but changes are likely by Sunday afternoon, according to MetService.
