MetService meteorologist Lewis Ferris says temperatures in the mid to low 20s with plenty of sunshine, a weekend to enjoy. 

Unless of course you are desperate for rain! 

“Just 7.4mm of rain in our Alexandra gauge for the entire month of March (6.6mm in one day), a quarter of the March average.”
