There are just two left weeks for Central’s artists to enter an Easter showcase of the visual arts in Cromwell.

Arts Central chair PK Maracin said the organisers want to encourage all aspects of art and all levels of artistry.

“Nobody should be afraid to enter,” she said.

“Art is in the eye of the beholder, how long you do something doesn't define your talent.”

Students along with established or aspiring artists can still participate in the exhibition.

“We want to attract those with hidden talents, we want to be approachable and open.”

The deadline for Arts Central Exhibition ‘23 (ACE) entries is March 24. $1,000 in prize money will be awarded to works chosen by the judges.

ACE ‘23 is on at The Gate Conference Centre April 7-10. Entry is by koha (donation) and there will be artworks for sale.
