A person is in Dunedin Hospital after apparently falling from a chairlift at Cardrona Alpine Resort this morning.

St John was alerted to the incident at 10.17am, and sent a helicopter from Queenstown.

“One patient was flown to Dunedin Hospital in a moderate condition,” St John communications advisor Gerard Campbell told the Wanaka App.

Cardrona Alpine Resort was approached for comment.
