Cromwell Community Board (CCB) member Robin Dicey has resigned with immediate effect. 

Cromwell Community Board Chair Anna Harrison received the verbal resignation today.

At the end of the scheduled Cromwell Community Board meeting Robin made his announcement to the elected members and staff present, citing he wished the resignation to be effective immediately.

CCB Chair Anna Harrison said Robin’s resignation was a surprise to the Board.

“The Board thanks Mr Dicey for his service to the community over the last four and a half years. 

“His passion and willingness to ask difficult questions have made for lively debate around the board table. 

“His resignation was received verbally and formal resignation processes will now be followed. 

“Because we are halfway through a term, an announcement will be made regarding a by-election in due course. 

“The Board wishes Robin well in his future endeavours and is sure he will continue to serve his community in other ways.
