SH8 Closed, Alexandra on Conroys Road intersection.

Police can confirm one person has died following a crash on SH8/Alexandra-Fruitlands Road, Alexandra, this morning.

The single vehicle crash was reported to Police around 10.50am.

The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.

Motorists are advised to continue taking the alternate route.

Detour suggestion:

Northbound traffic turn left onto Conroys Road then continue along Chapman Road then turn right onto Earnscleugh Road then back on SH8. Reverse for Southbound traffic.
