Residents and visitors to Ranfurly are advised that a Boil Water Notice will be in place for this town water supply from 10pm 13th June.

Please boil all water used for drinking, food preparation and cooking, and cleaning your teeth until further notice. Bring water to a rolling boil and boil for at least a minute, then allow it to cool naturally.

There will be drinking water tankers in place by the monument on Charlemont Street, at the Maniototo Area School and at the Maniototo Hospital.

We will advise when water conditions improve, and the boil water notice can be removed.

Please note the CONSERVE WATER NOTICE was put in place as the water quality appeared to be improving and our teams were working hard to avoid a boil water notice, however this improvement was not sustained, and a boil water notice is now required.
