Naseby and Ranfurly Boil Water Notice lifted The Boil Water Notice has been lifted for Naseby and Ranfurly as of Saturday but residents have been asked to conserve water.

The Central Otago District Council (CODC) has lifted Boil Water Notices for Naseby and Ranfurly, but Naseby residents have been asked to conserve water. 


“The test results are back and we've had three days of clear testing for both Naseby and Ranfurly, which means we can now remove the Boil Water Notices on these water supplies,” a CODC statement says.  


The Central Otago District Council (CODC) has lifted Boil Water Notices for Naseby and Ranfurly, but Naseby residents have been asked to conserve water.


“The water is now safe to drink straight from the tap again.


“We advise flushing lines from an outside tap but with caution as the available storage is low.


“Naseby - we do need to have you on a CONSERVE WATER notice for now as only a 1/4 of reservoir storage is functioning at this stage. Water tankers will remain in place to help you with conserving water.
