If trains are your thing, then more than likely you were among the hundreds of train spotters who visited the Central Otago Model Society show.

The biennial event turns the Cromwell bowls clubroom into a train station for a weekend, with enthusiasts descending on Central Otago to help show off their creations and spread the word about their hobby.

Model trains come in all sizes, from the garden-sized setup to the tiniest suitcase setup.
