The fourth round of Central Otago Club Rugby promised much and delivered, but not for the as-yet winless Maniototo Maggots, who went down to the visiting Wakatipu side 16-22.

In other games, Arrowtown Bulls were no match for the Upper Clutha Rams, who dominated, posting 45 points to the Bulls 7.

The clash between Cromwell Goats and the Matakanui Mudfish was closer, with the Goats carrying on their winning ways 40 to 24.
