BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED – Patearoa - Thursday 20 April 2023

The Boil Water Notice for Patearoa is now lifted. The water testing results from the past three days have come back clear and the chlorine level is back to normal. Our Water Service Team is fairly confident that the fluctuating chlorine levels was a result of the water treatment plant having to deal with highly discoloured water caused by an unusually high amount of organic matter in the river. Now that the water has cleared up, this is no longer an issue.
