The Naseby community remains on a Conserve Water Notice and under the Red Drop restriction level (see table below).

The irrigation race has been repaired, and as predicted, the Council is seeing a slug of dirty water passing the treatment plant. Staff are monitoring the source water carefully to identify when water can start being produced as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the Council asks people to please keep up their water-saving efforts; for both Ranfurly and Naseby please note:

Total ban on all outdoor water use – no sprinklers/irrigation/car washing/playing in the hose

• If it’s yellow, let it mellow
• Short showers – 4 min max
• Only run full loads in the dishwasher and washing machine
