A group of budding actors are gearing up for their roles on the Clyde stage.
The original play called Thorapan, which features Captain Hook, Peter Pan and some unexpected plot twists, was written by Alexandra's Karin Halliday.
Karin said the play, taking place at the Clyde Memorial Hall on February 25 and 26, originated from a shorter play she wrote for Clyde School.
"All the actors are children between 8 and 13-years-old.

"The more we rehearse and practice together with the help of director Pat Lines, we are seeing the shyness and nerves start to disappear.
"For some it's their very first time on stage, but it is a mix." The children really suit the parts they've got."
I'm helping in all aspects, giving out lots of encouragement when it's required."
Along with Captain Hook and Peter Pan the play features a surprise person not normally associated with these well known fairytales.
