A Department of Conservation hut in the South Island's Fiordland National Park has been identified as a high-risk Covid-19 exposure site.
Anyone who visited Green Lake Hut between 7pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday is being urged to self-isolate, and test immediately and on day five after they were exposed at this location of interest.
They're also being asked to record their visit online or call Healthline so contact tracers can get in touch.
The track to Green Lake Hut is an advanced tramping trail with the hut offering 12 bunk beds on a first come, first served basis.
Public Health will provide further isolation and testing requirements.
