Motorists will have noticed extensive road works in Clyde in the past few months with upgrades and installation of services, which have caused some disruption.

The good news is only one street will be affected over Waitangi Weekend.

Fraser St between Sunderland and Blyth streets in Clyde will be closed over the long weekend​ and for at least a month while work is carried out.

Residents will be able to access properties inside the closure area.

The Sunderland St work site will extend onto the road slightly but will still be two lanes.

No main streets are affected and the Post Office Cafe and Bar carpark can be accesses from the Blyth St end.
