It was a busy weekend of club rugby all over the district. The Matakanui Mudfish took out Arrowtown Bulls in a high-scoring affair in Arrowtown, 41 to 26.

The Maniototo Maggots fell well short of the Cromwell Goats, with the Goats scoring 50 to the Maggots 17.

The Wānaka Rams were away to the Alexandra Armadillos in a tight match, 12 - 5 to the Rams.
