The Central Otago District Council (CODC) has advised Boil Water Notice is now in place for Ranfurly, while conserve water notices remain for Naseby, Patearoa and Omakau/Ophir.
Residents and visitors to Ranfurly are advised that a Boil Water Notice will be in place for this town water supply from 1pm today, the CODC statement says.
“Please boil all water used for drinking, food preparation and cooking, and cleaning your teeth until further notice.
“Bring water to a rolling boil and boil for at least a minute, then allow it to cool naturally.
“There will be drinking water tankers in place on Charlemont Street and at the Maniototo Area School.
“We will advise when water conditions improve and the boil water notice can be removed.
“Please tag, share and let your neighbours and friends know that you think may not see this online or via app and radio advisories.”
Conserve Water Notices remain in place for Naseby and Patearoa water supplies and have been extended to include Omakau/Ophir as a precaution.
