A 57-year-old Alexandra man will appear in court this week after ignoring police orders to turn his music down at the weekend.
Senior Constable Graham Perkins said police were informed of a noise complaint by Cougar Security due to previous interactions with the occupant.
While initially compliant with orders when spoken to, the man became obnoxious and belligerent and would not listen to the consequences of ignoring the noise abatement notice.
Snr Const Perkins said he was arrested for obscene language and resisting police, after continuing to deny he had done anything wrong.
Two 16-year-old males would be dealt with by Youth Aid services after doing burnouts on Racecourse Road in Omakau.
Members of the public called police and two units responded, with both vehicles green stickered for defects.
The teenagers were taken home and arrangements made to impound the vehicles.

The police rural team dealt with the burglary of a wheelbarrow and garden hose from a garden shed in Alexandra, after the off-duty policeman saw the offender walking down the street with it at 2am.
The property was promptly returned on Sunday after the offender admitted the offences.
