Police have informed of a "Serious crash" – SH85, Kyeburn Road, Round Hill, Waitaki.

Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on SH85, Morrisons. The crash, reported at 11.20am, involved a ute and a motorcycle.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

Motorists are asked to avoid travel in the area if possible as diversions are in place. 

Detour route

For northbound traffic turn left onto Macraes Road, continue onto Hyde-Macraes Road, turn right onto State Highway 87, continue onto State Highway 87, turn left back onto State Highway 85. Reverse for southbound traffic.
