Police have reported they have attended four crashes on State Highway 6 this evening after a large fuel spill.

Following on from our road update warning people " Driving to Queenstown? on The Central App. We are now informed the spill stretched from Gibbston Valley through to Lake Hayes and has caused multiple car crashes.

One person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a truck rolled near Gibbston.

Police advise people driving through the area to take it slow. We will provide further information as we are informed.
