Uruuruwhenua Health Inc. are looking for a Kaiārahi to join our team at Uruuruwhenua Hauora, Whānau Wellbeing Centre.

Kaiārahi / Programme Coordinator, ARA TIKA (Whānau Harm/Violence)


20 hours per week


Central Otago/Lakes District


You will be required to:

  • Manage referrals from Family Harm
  • Engage with Whānau involved in Family Harm
  • Attend weekly hui with partner agencies
  • Coordinate our support program “Ara Tika”
  • Work within the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.


We are seeking experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Relationship Management
  • Program Administration and Coordination experience
  • Social Work, Counselling or similar
  • Working in a Kaupapa Māori setting.
  • Work autonomously and have high initiative
  • Tech savvy, strong administration skills and ability to complete case notes and reporting requirements.


Applicants must be willing to Travel within Central Otago/Lakes District and have flexibility in availability.


Opportunity to be based in Alexandra, Cromwell, or Queenstown.
