Sticks 'n Stones is looking for an experienced, organised, detail-focused person with initiative and excellent self-management to support the financial management of our organisation.
This is a flexible contract position for between 4-6 hours per week and can be done from home.
The role involves:
1) Account & Payroll Management: Managing the accounts payable and receivable for Sticks ‘n Stones including following up debtors and prompt payment of invoices through online banking. Managing the payment through Thank you Payroll of our contractors and onboarding them.
2) Financial Records: Maintaining accurate and appropriate financial records that support the accountability requirements of grants and our legal obligations through Xero. Experience and confidence with Xero is important in this role.
3) Reporting: Providing monthly reports to the Board, tracking grant expenditure and income and reporting to grant holders for accountability purposes.
4) IRD and Charities Obligations: Meeting the legal obligations for GST, Charitable status and other legal requirements
5) Financial Liaison: Working when required with appropriate organisations, e.g. The bank, IRD, Thank you payroll, local council, fundholders, partners etc.
