We are the leading supplier of building materials in Central Otago and pride ourselves on providing outstanding service to our customers.


We are currently looking for an experienced HIAB Truck Driver to join our team in Cromwell.


About the role:

In your role as a HIAB Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to our customers


in a professional, timely and safe manner while providing exceptional service to our customers.


Duties:

  • Operate Hiab trucks for loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently
  • Ensure loads are delivered to site in full and as per customers’ expectations
  • Use forklift to safely load and unload trucks
  • Driving in a manner that is line with the road code, company safety expectations and NZTA rules and regulations
  • Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure optimal performance
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient deliveries
  • Adhere to Health and Safety protocols and regulations at all times


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a HIAB Truck Driver/Delivery Driver
  • Valid Class 2 Drivers Licence
  • Forklift OSH and F Endorsement preferable (training can be provided)
  • Customer focused

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good planning and organising skill
  • Physically fit and able to handle demands of the job

This is a full-time position and the working hours will be approximately 50 hours per week.
