Seasonal Solutions Cooperative Ltd is a South Island cooperative supporting horticulture and viticulture shareholders with employees. Seasonal Solutions provides employment within Otago, Canterbury and Marlborough, under the RSE scheme and for Kiwi/Backpackers and working holiday visa holders.
The Operations Manager in the Otago region will be responsible for the co-ordination of the labour demand planning within their region.
This will involve having excellent communication, leadership, and logistics experience with a proven track record.
The role is pivotal in maintaining communication flow between members and workers.
You will have the ability to motivate and support your team while working in a collaborative environment and foster relationships with Immigration NZ, the Labour Inspectorate and Ministry of Social Development.
Your role will involve understanding visa’s, accommodation standards, health and safety and pastoral care. We are looking for someone with a ‘get up and go’ attitude who is a team player and can think and make decisions on the go.
Someone who is a ‘people person’, who can form good business relations and can provide key management and leadership to your team.
Some travel within NZ and the Pacific maybe required and some after-hours responsibilities.
You will consult with the Business and Finance Manager, General Operations Manager, and the CEO, reporting monthly to the CEO and Board of Directors.
You will be provided with a company vehicle, mobile phone, and a competitive salary.
