We are excited for another season of the Roxburgh Pool and we would love for you to join us.

The Roxburgh Pool Punawai-Ora is now looking to fill the Life Guard / Pool Supervisor role.

This position involves but is not limited to:

• Supervising swimmers in the three pools
• ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all Pool users
• ensuring caregiver supervision of under 8 year olds and monitoring and supervising the safety of all other swimmers.
• Working in a team to receive payment of admission, general enquiries, and sale of goods.
• Light cleaning duties.
• Water management and testing.

Required skills:

• Excellent work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised and within a small team
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Great communication skills
• Attention to detail,
• focussed Ability to follow process/policy,
• show excellent problem solving skills and can remain calm in all situations.
• Be a competent and confident swimmer – and hold a current Life Saving Qualification

Roxburgh Pool 2024 - 2025 Season is from December 1st 2024 – 16th March 2025.

Hours of work negotiable between 30 - 35hrs per week – 5hrs per day for 15 weeks with Christmas and New Years Day off.

Hourly rate - $26
