Peregrine Wines is a long established, family-owned producer of wine in Central Otago. With organically managed estate vineyards across the Cromwell basin and Gibbston sub-regions, Peregrine produces super-premium Pinot Noir and a range of white varieties.

An exciting opportunity exists to join the tight-knit team based at our architecturally designed winery Cellar Door located in Gibbston, from where we offer an extensive direct to consumer programme, wine tastings and sales, weddings and events, and an exclusive and personalised service to members of our wine clubs.

The successful applicant will become an integral member of a progressive sales and marketing team, and would be responsible for event enquiries and site visits in addition to contributing to DTC sales activity.   

While wine or retail experience would be highly beneficial, a willingness to learn is a primary attribute and the position will suit applicants from a range of backgrounds.  

This role is fulltime, however some flexibility is possible for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will offer the following:

• the characteristics and personal attributes to work effectively in our existing tight knit team
• exceptional customer service skills
• an understanding of marketing and selling to consumers of luxury goods and experiences
• the drive and motivation to build on Peregrine’s position in the market and continue to project our brand values
• be based in Central Otago, and be willing to perform weekend work as required on a rostered basis

Remuneration will be based on experience, and applicants must have the ability to work permanently in New Zealand.
